Real CF with 3M backing from Sly Machines cut on a Graphtec cutting plotter to fit exact. After applying, I masked the area and sprayed automotive clear coat to give it a nice sheen.

Pull off "chromed" plastic cap. Exposing the the fitted sheath.

Already painted the "chromed" plastic cap with "carbon" color shown here.

New RAZO RA56 BLUE aluminum/CF shifter. Made for manual shift. However, RAZO shifters come with 4 mounting options—so they will also fit automatics.

I did this mod to extend the RAZO RA56 style and to diminish a loser bottom fit because of how wide the shifter is at the bottom.

Hacked off about 1" of the fitted sheath from the stock shifter.

Push it through the painted cap and JB Weld (epoxy) in place.

Pushed through and JB Welded into place.

JB Weld (epoxy) the RAZO shifter to the cap.

The RAZO RA56 shifter is actually (by luck 'o the draw) perfectly fitted to the ledge of the stock cap so centering and seating is a no brainer.

Matches my Techno Blue...and with CF & aluminum too!

  Done!
